Pride Competition Cheer

 

League:  Suffolk County Youth Cheerleading Association

 ( SCYCA)

• Ages: 4 - 14

• Equipment:  Cheer Uniform is provided

• Practice:  March - November

• Season:  September through November- there is a requirement to attend and sideline cheer for 4 games prior to competition season beginning in October.  This is both a SCYCA and NCYCA requirement.

• Parades:  We participate in both the MacArthur and Division Homecoming parades.  We also participate in the Levittown July 4th Parade and hand out American flags to those watching the parade.

• Camp / Clinic:  Free the last week of July and led by Levittown High School Varsity Coaches and other Prominent High School Programs

• Special Events:  Movie Night, Awards Dinner, Pride Day and special event games.

• Memorial Football Field- 150 Abbey Lane, Levittown

• Platinum Athletics (PAC)- 2979 Burns Ave, Wantagh 

• Gardiners Avenue Elementary- 610 Gardiners Ave, Levittown

• MacLaren Stadium- 237-299 Loring Rd, Levittown

• MacArthur High School- 3369 Old Jerusalem Rd, Levittown

• Division Ave High School - 120 Division Ave, Levittown

** There are additional fees associated with competition cheer and vary depending on routine, bows, sneakers, etc....
